At Roll Booth, your privacy isn't just important — it's fundamental to how we built this app. We believe your photos are yours and yours alone.
Roll Booth is a 100% client-side application. This means:
If you design a frame in Build Your Own and press Publish, you are choosing to send it to us so we can consider adding it to Roll Booth for everyone to use. Only then is anything sent, and it is:
The photos in your frame are never included. Submissions are stored with Cloudflare (our hosting provider) so we can review them. If we publish your frame, its name, your name and your Instagram handle are shown publicly with it, as its credit. Submissions we don't publish are deleted. To have a published frame taken down, or a submission removed, email hello@rollbooth.com.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve Roll Booth and understand which features are most popular.
Important: Google Analytics does NOT track or collect your photos. All photo processing happens locally in your browser. Analytics only tracks general website usage patterns.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Ads are what keep Roll Booth free for everyone. Mediavine is our exclusive advertising partner — they manage and serve every ad on this site. We do not work with any other ad network.
Roll Booth works with Mediavine to manage third-party, interest-based advertising appearing on the site. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit Roll Booth, and doing so may use first- and third-party cookies. A cookie is a small text file sent to your device by a web server so that a site can remember something about your visit.
First-party cookies are created by the site you are visiting. Third-party cookies are created by a domain other than the site you are visiting, and are commonly used for behavioral advertising and analytics. Third-party cookies, tags, pixels, beacons and other similar technologies may be placed on Roll Booth to monitor interaction with advertising content, and to target and optimize advertising.
Every browser can block first- and third-party cookies and clear its cache. The “Help” menu in your browser explains how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified about new cookies, how to disable cookies you already have, and how to clear the cache; All About Cookies has general guidance. Some site features may not work without cookies.

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising industry-wide at aboutads.info or the NAI opt-out page, and you can read Mediavine’s privacy policy for how they handle data.
Your photos stay out of all of this. Advertising cookies see page visits, not pictures. Photos are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to us, to Mediavine, or to any advertiser.
Note: These third-party services may collect data as described in their own privacy policies. However, your photos are never sent to any server or third party.
Roll Booth is safe for all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there's no special data collection for children.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
