Last updated: May 27, 2026 Effective: May 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Roll Booth website and photobooth application (collectively, the "Service") operated by the Roll Booth team ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of the Service

Roll Booth is a browser-based photobooth that lets users capture photos using their device's camera and produces a stylized receipt-themed image. All processing happens on the user's device. The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

3. License to use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal and lawful purposes. This license does not grant you any rights to the source code, design, branding, or other intellectual property of Roll Booth beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.

4. Your content

Roll Booth processes images you capture entirely within your browser. Because we do not upload or store your photos, you retain full ownership and control over all images created using the Service. You are solely responsible for the content of any photos you capture, including:

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Service, excluding user-generated content, is owned by Roll Booth or its licensors. This includes the name "Roll Booth," our logos, design elements, written copy on the website (including blog posts and informational pages), and the underlying code of the application. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of this content without our written permission, except for fair use under applicable law.

7. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party tools, including Google Analytics for usage statistics and Google AdSense for advertising. These third parties have their own terms and privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

8. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks. We do not endorse the products or services advertised, and we are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the practices of advertisers. Clicking on an advertisement may take you to a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Roll Booth, its operators, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or emotional distress, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability, if any, shall not exceed one hundred (100) US dollars or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roll Booth and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you don't agree with the changes, please stop using the Service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that, by their nature, should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Roll Booth regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
